Well I'll update everyone since I haven't been on in a while. My husband Brian and I are attending UVU in Orem this Semester. School started Wednesday August 26th and I decided to attend the previous Friday. I know I'm crazy, but I thought better to get an education than sit on my bum at home. I love college, however it can be stressful. I've been blessed with wonderful teachers. I clashed with one unfortunately, so I dropped her and got one that fit better. Brian works full time and takes a English class at night. Enough about school. Brian and I are doing great. We got our own apartment in July and we love it. We have a very special occasion coming up (a week from sunday). We will be celebrating our 1st Anniversary. It went by so fast. Well I've got to run, Love you all

It's been awhile....

Well I'm really bad at keeping my blog up to date. The last couple of months have been really crazy. We finally moved into our own place, I'm very thankful to my in-laws for giving us a place to live for awhile. We now live in Orem, about 5 minutes from UVU so Brian can go to school. We've rented a 2 bedroom apartment and We absolutely love it. It's perfect for us. My Brother-in-Law is getting married on Saturday. I've known Chad for 8 or 9 years and it's amazing to see how's he's grown. We've had 2 new additions to our families. My Sister-in-Law Heather had a beautiful baby girl in June. Her name is Peyton Lynn Wilson. Then Brian's Sister-in-Law Andrea had another beautiful baby girl in April. Her name is Nayelee. And my Sister Brandi has a bun in the oven (Baby #4). I'm a very proud Auntie. Well It's been nice catching up, but I've got to put my apartment together. Later.

Zoo Adventure

On Saturday, while Brian was at work, my family and I went to the zoo. It was a beautiful winter day and not a lot of people to fight through. We started off by going to the bat cave. I wish that I could've gotten a picture of all the bats that were in there. They are interesting creatures. Next we went over to watch the pelicans be fed and of course Nicholas just had to feed the ducks :). After Nick fed the ducks he found snow and then started to throw snowballs at everyone, It was hilarious. We got to see the elephants, giraffes, tigers, monkeys and bears. One of my favorite parts, which is Nicks favorite part, is the carousel. We got to ride it 2 times and everytime Nick wanted to ride the giraffe, but I talked him into riding the Gorilla once. My other favorite part is going to the Asian Highlands and getting an egg roll from the vendor. The egg rolls are amazing, a little pricey, but good. However when I went up to get my egg roll, I sadly found out that they were closed. We spent about 2 hours at the zoo and had a great time. We have a tradition after we leave the zoo, we hit up L&L's Hawaiian BBQ (400 south and 700 east). If you've never eaten there I suggest you go. It's FANTASTIC!!!!

Draper Temple

So Last night My Family and I visited the Draper Temple and took a tour. Brian wasn't there because he was at work, he got a supervisor position and couldn't miss. We first had to go to a church to park and watch a movie on why the temples are important to the LDS faith. Then we got on a bus that takes you right up to the temple. It was foggy and rainy so you couldn't see the temple very well, which means you couldn't even get a picture of it. Anyways, it was very nice right after you got off the bus there was huge tents all lined up so you wouldn't get wet walking into the temple. The Draper Temple is peaceful and beautiful. It took us about an hour for the whole event, but worth it. After you exit the temple you head right to the stake center next door and again huge tents leading you right inside. Inside the Stake center, they greet you with cookies and cute little water bottles for a refreshment. Then after you are done looking at pictures of some of the temples from around the world, you get on a bus and head back to the church. It was an amazing experience and I recommend all who are interested should go.

Duck Pond

Today I went to the duck pond in Kaysville with my family. My mom had gone to the bread store and bought 12 loafs of duck bread (old bread sold at a cheaper price). So we strapped in the kids and walked down the street to the pond. It was kind of cold outside, but I was warm I had kaitlynn attached to me and a blanket over her to keep us warm. The ducks swarmed us as we threw the bread to them. Nick was so excited that he kept saying more, more. I guess one of the ducks has a broken leg or something like that. My brother in-law Polo was sitting by it feeding that one and if any others came around he'd scare them away. I ended up feeing the seagulls because another family came by us so the ducks weren't interested in what I had to offer. The seagulls would dare the cars driving by to hit them. One car stopped and waited for 10 minutes until they decided to go around them. The 12 loafs of bread went very quickly. It was something fun to do on a sunday.
